This piece is made of fine lamb wool and natural mineral / vegetable dyes by skilled crafts people. Professionally cleaned. No stains, animal or smoke. Extremely durable method of knotting. Dense and fine at same time. Double tied knots on two foundation layers for durability and flexibility (250 knots per square inch per layer for 500 kpsi effective). Millions of hand tied knots. Soft antiqued green field tone with major accents in dark, mid and light blue, dark green among many accents. Natural dyes from indigo, lilac, hyacinth, beets, larkspur, weld, and more. There is some antique wear, low pile or foundation over the century. Buy if ok and wanting a fine large durable true antique with historic weight.
