Seldom Seen Antique Meriden Britannia Silver Plate, C1860, Figural Inkwell with Pen Holder and Glass Insert. Highly detailed design of a Victorian Lady Head wearing her Strand of Pearls. The Inkwell measures just under 3" tall and is about 3 1/4" at the widest portion. It is marked on the bottom as pictured with the Meriden Scales mark, with 'Meriden B. Company', and also with the number '55'. It has age appropriate wear and a small amount of plate loss, mostly on the bottom. The Lid opens and closes properly. I have included photos of all sides and the bottom so please view all the photos for full condition report. A Fabulous Figural Inkwell that will Certainly Please the New Owner!!
