There is general ageing and wear to the metal including some surface corrosion and marking in places, but no significant damages such as splits, cracks or deep scratches. The lamp has old continental European wiring and is electrically untested. The cord and plug will be removed before dispatch for safety reasons. In common with all vintage electrical items, it MUST be professionally rewired by a qualified electrician before use.”
